Students join radio stations
JAKARTA (JP): Head of the Jakarta office of the information ministry Semyon Sinulingga opened an apprenticeship program for students in 38 private radio stations in the city yesterday.
Semyon told the students to use their current vacation to increase their knowledge of radio technology.
About 714 high school students joined the program to work in radio stations during the current month-long vacation.
The annual program is one of various activities coordinated by the city administration during long holidays. (yns)
