Students brawls

For over ten years high school students brawls on the street have become a popular trend among the students. Trash talk or aggressive taunting is a common starting point which then lead to stones pelting and knife stabbing. Each fighting party feels so powerful and is keen to beat the other by any ways.

At some time the brawl is not a fare game as either party has more students. The less is normally very unfortunate to have the mob attacks, some beaten students die with bad injuries and the others are hospitalized or caught by the police. As the brawls always take at public space, innocent passers-by, shop windows as well as public utilities have the risk of being vandalized. It is a common scene that being unable to chase their foes, students then break the buses' windows or turn parked cars nearby upside down.

Local newspaper readers can read reports on brawls almost every day. Students brawls are a very serious problem in our society and deserve a high commitment to resolve. We should not let the students, who will be the future leaders, live rudely and cruelly, and die on the street. Parents should set good examples for the younger people to follow, and always disseminate moral as well as social values.
