Student drowns in river

BANDUNG: Hendra Gunawan, 21, a student of Padjadjaran
University's School of Geological Engineering drowned in Serayu
River in Cilacap, Central Java, on Wednesday.

His body was found on Friday in Serayu, Purwokerto, some 60
kilometers north of Cilacap.

Geology lecturer Edi Sunardi told journalists at his office
here on Friday that Hendra was on a field trip with 105 other
students in Cilacap. Hendra was fixing a device on the edge of
Dendala Rawalo Bridge when he fell to the swift river. (43)
