Student dies after falling from train

BEKASI: Desi Maulana, a 19-year-old high school student, was killed after falling from a diesel train in Bulak Kapal, Bekasi, on Tuesday.

Eyewitness Marnadi said that the girl was found bleeding by the railway. Both of Desi's arms were broken and she suffered severe head injuries.

Locals arrived at the scene soon after the news of the accident spread and later reported the incident to the nearest police post.

Police later brought the victim to Bekasi General Hospital, where relatives identified the body. The case is being investigated by Bekasi Police. -- Antara
