Student brawl claims one life

BOGOR: A brawl erupted outside the Pajajaran sports hall where
pop music group Dewa was holding a concert on Tuesday afternoon,
claiming the life of one student and seriously wounding two
others.

Ridwan, a 16-year-old student at Yapis mechanical high school,
died from a stab wound to the right side of his chest while
Sulaeman, 16, from the same school, suffered a cut finger and
Asep, 16, a pupil at Tri Darma mechanical high school, was
injured in the head and knees.

The incident, which occurred at around 3:20 p.m., also
involved students from Bharatama mechanical high school.

Police arrested a total of 27 students as a result of the
brawl.--JP
