Student arrested for drug trafficking
BOJONEGORO, Central Java: A Jakarta student was arrested in possession of thousands of barbiturate pills, Antara reported Friday.
Bojonegoro police chief Lt. Col. Kartno said police believe the student, identified as EB, had a drug network in the rural areas where such pills are now often found.
He said EB claimed he bought the pills in Jakarta at a price of Rp 6,000 for 10 pills and sold them for Rp 20,000 per 10 pills.
Police said they had long suspected EB of being a trafficker. He was arrested as he left his uncle's house, where he often stayed when in the area, with a bag containing the pills, police said. replace him if he does not meet your expectations," he said.
