Street criminals, gamblers arrested

BOGOR: A total of 168 suspected street criminals and gamblers, including three women, were arrested by the police here on Sunday.

The raids, involving about 100 police officers, were conducted from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Kebon Kembang and Anyar market, Topi park, Baranangsiang bus terminal and Bogor Plaza.

The police confiscated Rp 154,000 in cash, five gambling machines, playing cards, 10 huge firecrackers, barbiturates, dozens of gambling forms and three boxes of liquor. --JP
