Stop the war

In a number of countries that have a majority Muslim population, the American attacks (in Afghanistan) have caused highly counterproductive upheavals. For example, Indonesia, which was slowly recovering from a crisis, has started to lurch once again. The attacks also hold the potential to revive anti- American sentiments in some of that country's old enemies -- such as Iraq, Iran and Libya -- and to cause the world to be polarized into Islamic and non-Islamic camps.

For that reason, once again, the war must be stopped. The longer it is sustained, the more it will arouse anger in a world that is against war. However modern the weapons may be, war remains a primitive way of resolving conflict. War always destroys and threatens world peace.
