Starve not strive

Thank you very much for covering the INFID news conference on external debt so well and so extensively. Unfortunately, a small but important printing error crept into the text of RI urged to apply for debt relief arbitration on page 12 of the July 6, 2000 edition of The Jakarta Post.

In paragraph eight, I said that no debtor should be forced to let his children starve (not strive) just to pay his debts.
