Starbucks launches Cikampek drive-thru

Starbucks Coffee has officially launched its first drive-thru at Kilometer 19 of the Cikampek toll road, West Java, the company's first drive-thru in Southeast Asia.

"This is our first drive-thru in Indonesia and in Southeast Asia. But we also provide outdoor and indoor spaces," said Anthony Cottan, director of PT Sari Coffee Indonesia (SCI), which holds the franchise for Starbucks Coffee in the country.

The KM 19 Starbucks, which has 90 seats, operates from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Fridays and around the clock on Saturdays and Sundays for an all- night caffeine high.

By year's end, Starbucks will open its 36th outlet in Indonesia at Wisma Dinners on Jl. Jend. Sudirman, Central Jakarta.
