Standard Chartered Bank responds
This refers to the letter from Mr. Adrianus Hiyung Tjung that
appeared in The Jakarta Post on June 20, 2000. We have since
investigated the matter, and following a meeting between Mr.
Tjung and officers from the bank, the issue has now been resolved
to his satisfaction.
We regret the inconvenience faced by Mr. Tjung and have taken
appropriate measures to ensure that there is no repetition of
such an incident in the future. At Standard Chartered Bank, we
value customer feedback that allows us to continually improve our
service levels.
