Sponsor donates money to IBA

JAKARTA (JP): The Indonesia Boxing Association is to receive Rp 1.3 billion (US$542,000) from sponsor PT Gadjah Tunggal to scout for new stars and train them.

"The sponsor has given Rp 1.3 billion of our Rp 2 billion budget this year. We're very pleased with the assistance," said Didiet Soedijoto, the association's secretary-general Tuesday.

The financial assistance will be revised every year.
