Sonny Keraf represents Holy See

Indonesia is not only spreading its delegations to the various negotiating tables at the UN meeting in Bali, but also sending one of its men to become a member of a foreign delegation. He is former State Minister of Environment Sonny Keraf.

Sonny entered a number of negotiating rooms on Thursday, using a delegation ID card representing the Vatican.

"I was called by the Holy See to represent it during this meeting. And I accepted the responsibility because I shared its mission as a moral movement to promote sustainable development," Sonny said.

"A moral movement," he said, "is necessary to promote sustainable development, to supplement the various initiatives from governments, non-governmental organizations and the other stakeholders."
