Solution to sticker situation

The pros and cons of SEA Games stickers has been a recent topics of interest among many people. I myself basically object to the collection of donations for the SEA Games through these stickers without knowing for sure where all the money goes. But this doesn't mean that I don't want to give my share to that sports event. For one thing, I think it is still tolerable if I only have to pay for the sticker once, and not every time I pay my monthly electric, telephone and water bills. I think many others share the same view.

The sticker itself is poorly designed. Perhaps if the design had been better, people wouldn't mind buying it. Look at how the Olympic Committee raises money through selling Olympic items. They sell stickers, emblems, hats and T-shirts in various beautiful designs. As a result, people buy them and some even collect them.

Although we cannot compare the SEA Games to the Olympic Games, which is obviously the most prestigious sports event in the world, we can start promoting the SEA Games by selling well- designed items like the ones mentioned above. These would be related to the Games and would make people want to buy and collect them. If it works, the public wouldn't have to be forced to purchase stickers through monthly bills as they are today.
