Soccer's inside scoop

In a letter in the April 24, 1995 issue, I stated that two English soccer players, playing in the Italian League, would be "returned to the sender."

The Jakarta Post (July 11, 1995) reported: "Platt joins Arsenal" and on July 12, 1995 the same paper published: "Gascoigne returns to Arsenal."

Also in a letter to The Jakarta Post (April 25, 1995), I stated that no European team wanted Cantona, especially those in Italy. The Jakarta Post (April 29, 1995) said: "Cantona to stay with Manchester United."

This letter is dedicated to all the so-called "experts" in soccer matters.
