Soccer attendance

In a recent article in The Jakarta Post, it was stated that the record attendance for an international soccer match is 149,547 set in 1937.

However at the Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro, 199,854 people attended the Brazil versus Uruguay World Cup final in 1950.
