Correction: The story under the heading Angry backlash over plane damage "cover-up" which appeared on page 13 yesterday should have been about England's Euro 96 soccer squad who faced an angry backlash on Tuesday as politicians and newspapers poured scorn on an inquiry into damage caused to a plane which was carrying them home from a Far East tour. We regret the error.
