Small hotels need help too

We are the owners of a number of small bungalows not far from Tanah Lot, Tabanan regency, Bali.

It is not a star-rated hotel, but rather melati class. We appreciate the help from the government in reviving Bali's tourist industry, but we would like to take part too.

The package deals being offered are for airline tickets with special discounts and discounted accommodation in star-rated hotels.

How about the melati hotels? We need guests too, as we have to pay our workers who have been working for us for many years. For the coming holidays we would like to suggest to the authorities concerned an "Economic Class" package for those who cannot afford to travel by air, even with discounts. Many people have to travel by train or bus.

Could a similar arrangement be made with PT KAI (state-owned railway company) or bus companies, in which they would give discounts for tickets to Bali and accommodation in smaller hotels?
