Small cat on four paws

DETROIT: Jaguar's new X400 will be all-wheel drive. News out of Detroit is that the car, which will now be built in England, will sport all-wheel drive to give it an edge against the BMW 3 Series and C-Class Mercedes.

Jaguar executives say the car will be built in the north west of England at Halewood on Merseyside.

The X400 had been tipped to be built in the U.S. or Germany but the company has decided to stay on English soil. It will be launched in 2001.
