Skill competition for Premier Cup players

JAKARTA (JP): Seven teams in the under-14 Asia Pacific Nike International Premier Cup will take part in the Indonesian Soccer Association's skills competition on June 6 at the Soemantri Brodjonegoro stadium in South Jakarta.

Association official Iswadi said the competition would help improve players' skills.

There will be a coaching clinic at 3 p.m. the same day, run by the Netherland's Dick Advocaat, who is PSV Eindhoven's head coach.

Malaysia, Japan, China, Singapore, South Korea, the Philippines and Indonesia will compete for the Premier Cup between June 7 and June 12.

There will be a penalty shoot-out competition open to spectators during the Cup. (yan)
