Sjafrie installs FKPPI leaders

JAKARTA (JP): Jakarta Military Commander Maj. Gen. Sjafrie
Sjamsoeddin has installed board members for the nine branches of
the Communication Forum of Indonesian Veterans' Children (FKPPI)
in Jakarta, Bekasi and Tangerang.

Sjafrie urged the FKPPI members to help ensure the success of
next year's general meeting of the People's Consultative
Assembly.

"I urge the members to be alert and help maintain security at
the important event," he said at the ceremony held at military
headquarters Wednesday night.

He said forum members, as children of Armed Forces personnel,
should have the same vision as their fathers in ensuring the
smooth development of the nation. (jun)
