Six track athletes to join SEAG squad

SEMARANG (JP): Six athletes from the Dragon athletics club in
Salatiga, Central Java, are being groomed to join the national
team for the Kuala Lumpur 2001 Southeast Asia (SEA) Games.

"We expect three or four of them to join the national team.
They still have their training sessions during Ramadhan however,
their training programs will be increased after Idul Fitri to
keep them prepared for any athletics events," club manager Yon
Daryono told reporters Thursday.

"Our athletes will be able to contribute two golds, two
silvers, and two bronzes," he added.

The six athletes are Ferry Zunadi (5,000 and 10,000 meters),
Zhoez Morgan (5,000 meters), Noor Amin (the 3,000 meter steeple
chase), Yanuar Drago (1,500 and 5,000 meters), Hanny Melon (800
and 1,500 meters), and Erni Ulatningsih (10,000 meters and the
marathon). (har)
