Six students missing in clash
JAKARTA (JP): At least six students have been reported missing after the bloody Black Friday incident, the Jakarta chapter of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) said on Sunday.
Doni from the office in Salemba told The Jakarta Post the students were TB. Khatibul of Driyarkara School of Philosophy, Haerudin from LP3I college in Tangerang, Dwi Irmawati from STEI economic college in Jakarta, Ida Bagus Jayeng from Borobudur University, Fauzi from Gunadarma University and Oki Januardo from Jakarta University.
According to Doni, the parents of the missing students said they had heard nothing from their children since the incident.
"If the police or military have arrested any of them, please let us know.
"We're not expecting these friends will be found at hospitals or morgues," Doni said.
In addition to the deaths of at least 13 people, the clashes in Semanggi and several parts of the capital left 150 injured.
Police claimed they arrested 57 looters and extortionists on Sunday. (emf)
