Six killed as buses crash

BANDARLAMPUNG, Lampung: Six people were killed and 59 injured
in a two-bus collision on Monday in North Lampung. It followed a
fatal accident in which two died in South Lampung last week.

Police spokesman Capt. Zainal Gunawan said on Tuesday the
crash occurred at Bukit Kemuning, 150 kilometers of Bandar
Lampung, Antara news agency reported. The drivers were among the
fatalities.

He said one bus was trying to overtake the other when the
accident occurred. Both buses were packed with passengers.
