Six bodies unclaimed

BANDUNG, West Java: Six unidentified bodies, victims of homicides and traffic accidents, threaten to decompose further, a hospital official said yesterday.

Apin, a mortuary attendant at Bandung's Hasan Sadikin hospital, told Antara the bodies, found in Bandung and Subang, would decompose even though they had been in cold storage for two months.

They have not been examined by doctors because their families have not come forward to identify them much less bury them, he said.

Apin said the mortuary had posted pictures of the six on its bulletin board for two weeks to inform families who may have lost a relative. (01)
