The Democratic People's Republic of Korea is a small country, yet it has been buffetted by no world-wide political tempest and strongly resisted the pressure, power and arbitrariness of the "one and only superpower".

Many people are eager to know the secret of this riddle. Allow me to tell you about the perfect unity of the leader and the people in the DPRK and thus solve the riddle. The DPRK entirely differs from others in social image.

In the DPRK Leader Kim Jong Il protects the destiny of the people, and they are firmly determined to defend him at the cost of their lives.

The Korean people sing fondly that none of them will exist without Leader Kim Jong Il. This is no happenstance.

They believe that he is the redeemer and a protector of their destiny.

They are filled with the spirit of casting in their lot with him, serving as his rifles and bombs and laying down their lives for his good without hesitation.

When he visited many units of South Hamgyong Province in November 1998, he looked round newly-built modern rural houses even under the pressure of his work, and posed for souvenir photographs with their owners in his joy.

Therefore, the Korean people remain filial and loyal to leader Kim Jong Il like his children. They are also firmly resolved to live up to his love for and confidence in them.

They regard it as their greatest honor and happiness to do all they can to please leader Kim Jong Il. They always wish him good health and happiness from the bottom of their hearts. No force can prevail over this kindred bond and complete unity of leader Kim Jong Il and Korean people.

For this reason the DPRK is so strong a country of the best vitality, and demonstrates its infinite strength and stamina to the whole world.
