Silverbird service
It was a late Friday morning and I had ordered a Silverbird
taxi to take my overseas visitor and myself to meet my husband
for lunch at Kuningan. We had a comfortable and safe drive and we
also enjoyed our lunch.
On arriving home at approximately 3.15 p.m., to my horror I
had realized that I had left my camera on the back seat of the
Silverbird taxi. I telephoned my husband and explained to him my
dilemma. I had also, without realizing it, taken note of the
driver's name and the taxi number. I passed this on to my husband
who had his secretary ring the Bluebird Company and explain to
them what had happened.
I was extremely upset at my stupid forgetfulness but resided
to the fact that I would never see my camera again.
To my absolute delight, that evening there came to my house an
employee of Blue Bird Taxi Company with my camera in hand.
I would like to say a very big Thank You to "Bayon" the driver
of the Silverbird taxi for your honesty and kindness in returning
my camera. This experience has assured me that there are some
honest people still out there somewhere!
