Sigma to market Fiserv products

JAKARTA (JP): PT Sigma Cipta Caraka, a local software company, has won a contract to market the products of Wisconsin-based PT Fiserv Indonesia, which specializes in developing software for financial institutions.

Under the deal signed on Tuesday, the two companies will jointly market, implement and support Fiserv's banking system solutions, Peter Hill, the managing director of Singapore-based Fiserv Asia-Pacific Pte. Ltd., said.

The alliance will help Fiserv secure at least eight more banks as clients by the end of 2002, Hill said.

The company currently includes Bank Danamon, Bank Panin and ABN AMRO Bank among its major client banks.

Djarot Subiantoro, the president of Sigma Cipta Caraka, said the alliance would boost his company's revenue by up to 20 percent. (05)
