Siemens launches new systems
JAKARTA (JP): Siemens of Germany, through its Indonesian subsidiary PT Siemens Indonesia, has introduced two new standard frequency converter systems, claimed to be the world's first integrated technology.
Siemens general manager for East Asia, Paul Johnstone, said here yesterday that the products, called Micro Master Vector and Midi Master Vector, featured self-optimizing functions.
He said that his company was ready to compete with its rivals from Europe, Japan and Korea which offered the same system.
Siemens Indonesia, 95 percent owned by Siemens and 5 percent by state-owned PT Pindad, will arrange the promotion, marketing and distribution of the new products in Indonesia. (icn)
