SIA apologizes
We refer to Panaia's letter Singapore Airlines (The Jakarta Post, Sept. 23).
We have carried out an investigation into the loss of his sunglasses while traveling to New Jersey.
We sincerely apologize that our ground handling agent at the Soekarno-Hatta Airport had failed to follow up with Panaia after he reported the loss. We take this matter seriously and have taken the issue up with the manager in charge in the ground handling agent. They will take the necessary corrective measures to ensure prompt and proper follow up on matters raised by our customers.
