Shed Not a Tear

Snared, captured, emasculated! in that instant dizzy with fear you've lost your home forever

You're put in a cage and transported to a foreign land to sold as a novelty a prop in the world of your buyer

You endure for a century of eternities unpleasant smells and noises dehydration, hunger, boredom inconsolable loneliness

You, who are without sin, have been taken from paradise and placed in hell

You have no autonomy, no sights There is no reprieve, no escape

This is the fate - day after day of unknown thousands of birds, mammals and reptiles in Indonesia

Unable to comprehend that non-humans have a special place in the unnatural order and intrinsic right to their existence. We shed not a tear! Have not a twinge of empathy for them.

Each second passes, each minute, each hour Each day, week, month, century and millennium Each moment contributes to construct the ages Each drop of water makes the great ocean.
