Servant killed in abortive robbery

JAKARTA: A servant was killed while another was injured in an
abortive robbery at a house located on Jl. Mandar, Bintaro Jaya
housing, sector III, in Pondok Karya subdistrict, Tangerang, on
Monday.

Suwandi, 24, died of severe stab wounds, while Muksini, 50,
who suffered light injuries was taken to Bintaro International
hospital nearby.

There were three servants working in the house, when the
robbery took place, while the owner, Karim, and his family did
not live there.

"The suspect, who is allegedly Suwandi's acquaintance is still
at large," Pondok Aren police subprecinct chief Comr. Sukarno
told Elshinta.

Police still grilled the housemaid, Mujiati, 24 who survived
the incident.--JP
