Sepang offers F1 package

JAKARTA (JP): The Sepang International Circuit (SIC) is offering several packages for Formula 1 fans in Indonesia to attend the final race of the 2000 season at the Sepang circuit from Oct. 20 to Oct. 22.

Nine well-known travel agents in the capital are offering the package at Rp 4,887,500 (US$600) per person, including flights, accommodation, insurance, transfer to the race track and tickets to the event.

SIC hopes to attract 4,000 fans from Indonesia to the $75- million circuit, which received the F1 Organizer Award from FIA.

The general manager of SIC, Azmi Murad, said in a release SIC aimed to make the final race of the season as accessible, exiting and affordable to as many people as possible. (yan)
