Senior editor passes away

BANJARMASIN, South Kalimantan: The Chief Editor of Banjarmasin Post, Yustan Azidin, died of cancer at Suaka Insan hospital on Saturday. He was 62 years old.

Yustan, a renowned artist, earned the nickname Si Pauli after his humor column for the paper in the local Banjar language, Antara reported.

He also served at the provincial office of the Ministry of Education and Culture and was in charge of the museum, history and archeology sections.

Among his colleagues he was known as a hard worker who often forced himself to work even when he was ill.

He is survived by his wife and four children.(03)
