Seminar on shipping

JAKARTA (JP): The Ministry of Transportation will hold a
seminar on the "Prospects of the shipping industry following the
implementation of Shipping Law" here on Wednesday.

The seminar will discuss the enforcement of the Shipping Law
which takes effect on Sept. 17.

Executives and officials including Chairman of the Indonesian
Importers' Association Amiruddin Saud, Chairman of the Indonesian
Chamber of Commerce and Industry Aburizal Bakrie, Director
General of Tax Fuad Bawazier and Director General of Foreign
Trade Djoko Moeljono will address the seminar.

Minister of Transportation Haryanto Dhanutirto is scheduled to
open the seminar at Hotel Indonesia.(icn)
