Semen Cibinong to up sales 10%

JAKARTA: Cement producer PT Semen Cibinong has said in a
statement on Monday that it has targeted a 10 percent increase in
cement and clinker sales volume this year, from 6 million tons
last year.

The statement said that last year's cement and clinker sales
volume was only 61.8 percent of the company's total production
capacity of 9.7 tons per annum.

It added that its present installed capacity at its four
plants in Narogong, West Java, was 5.6 million tons and at its
two plants in Cilacap, Central Java, it was 4.1 million tons.

Elsewhere the company said that its production and
distribution had been smooth, despite the recent widespread
flooding that had inundated Java. --JP
