Schools torched

From Kompas

After reading Kompas, I would like to express my great concern and sadness about the disaster heaped upon thousands of innocent children by the torching of their schools. How many elementary and high school buildings have been destroyed causing the children's and the nation's hopes to be abandoned with deep trauma. It is because of the behavior of "unknown" people. As far as I can ascertain from the media, not one of the culprits has been found let alone punished.

Isn't it a great sin if someone makes victims of children in political fights? Why haven't educational and religious institutions voiced their protests in defense of our beloved children? Why have they not cried out "stop the actions that sacrifice our children's education"?

I am amazed that everyone remains silent. Or haven't I heard their voices?
