The government has planned to make Saturday a holiday for the civil servants. Teachers, who are also civil servants, are mulling over the matter. Some want to make Saturday a holiday for the schools but others don't.

As far as a housewife is concerned, I believe a long week-end will have a positive impact on the activities of the school children and will hopefully reduce the number of student brawls. As a compensation, however, school hours should be increased to ensure students spend more time at school work and less time playing.
