Schering Plough dividends

JAKARTA (JP): PT Schering Plough Indonesia decided yesterday
to increase its final dividend for last year by 25 percent to Rp
750 (US$0.32) per share from Rp 600 in 1994.

At yesterday's annual meeting of the company's shareholders,
chief commissioner Ian L. Price reported a sales growth of 32
percent to Rp 39.7 billion in 1995 and a profit growth of 33
percent to Rp 7.3 billion.

The company, a subsidiary of Schering Plough Corporation of
the United States, engages in the development and marketing of
human pharmaceutical and health-care products. (rid)
