SCB helps orphanages
JAKARTA (JP): Standard Chartered Bank and its employees recently donated Rp 130 million (about US$9,285) to help orphanages in the country as part of its "Peduli" social activity campaign.
The bank said in a statement Saturday that the funds were donated to several charity organizations in Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Medan and Semarang.
CEO David Hawkins said the funds would be used to support orphans' education. (gis)
