Scary world
From Media Indonesia
Yesterday, my father read an article about Janet Jackson's laser disc entitled "Janet" not being allowed to be sold in Singapore because of its indecent cover.
I guess Singapore is stricter than Jakarta.
But Jakarta is even scarier. A few days ago, I passed a cinema which displayed movie posters which are somewhat obscene. I also read my mother's magazines (if my father knew about it, I would get punished) which contain obscenity, such as love affairs and much more.
If I go to the cinema to watch a movie, even though I'm going to watch a children's show, there are still commercials for adults.
My father said yesterday wasn't like today... it's too scary.
