SBY chats with royalty over Aceh

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono met Britain's Princess Anne, accompanied by her husband Rear Admiral Timothy Laurence and British Ambassador Charles Humfrey at the Presidential Palace on Monday.

"There was no political talk. We were just discussing the reconstruction progress in Aceh and the cooperation between our two countries," Susilo said after the meeting.

Princess Anne visited Indonesia in her capacity as the president of the Save the Children Fund (SCF). She earlier visited Aceh on Sunday to directly see the channeling of the SCF funds to the education sector there.

AFP reported that Princess Anne would fly to East Timor on Tuesday for a two-day visit. -- JP
