SBY apologizes over balloon accident
SURABAYA: Presidential candidate Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono expressed regret here on Wednesday over an accident involving one of his campaign balloons that caught fire and injured a young street child in Bandung, West Java.
Susilo instructed his campaign team to cover the medical costs for Irwan Nugroho, 12, who suffered burns after the Susilo balloon caught fire near him on Tuesday.
"We regret the accident and apologize," Susilo said in Surabaya, East Java. --Antara
