Save UNAS campus

From Suara Pembaruan

As an alumnus of the National University (Unas), I was deeply concerned over the never-ending row involving the university. Each conflicting party apparently defends its position and interest which has brought about uncertainty to the students. The students have to virtually stop their campus activities, including taking state examinations and attending lectures. This is a big loss to the students.

Many students who come from outside Jakarta, or even outside Java, have lost hopes, much to the distress of their parents who have sacrificed a lot to finance their education.

The prolonged feud will only worsen the situation, causing incidents involving students and the campus security personnel to erupt once in a while.

Therefore, I sincerely appeal to the authorities to do something about it to prevent the possibility of a third party fishing in troubled waters.
