Save our children

The lack of public concern over young children being regularly presented on Indonesian TV dressed, painted and performing as seductive adolescents is disturbing.

These innocent children are being pushed to engage in a cute, fun -- and profitable -- activity before they can even begin to understand that such performances are specifically designed to be sexually provocative. Their normal, healthy response to music is being exploited by adults who should know better. After Indonesia's children are molded into a promiscuous and lewd youth culture, nobody can understand what happened to their sense of respect, values and moral standards.

Indonesia, are you willing to sacrifice your children to such blatant commercial exploitation?

Doesn't anybody care?
