Satelindo blocks users

JAKARTA (JP): PT Satelindo, the operator of the Global System for Mobile communications (GSM), announced here yesterday that it had blocked 9,000 users due to unpaid bills.

The company said that it had improved its billing system which recently affected a large number of subscribers.

"We have to block the 9,000 users because they have failed to pay their bills after a 90-day overdue period. Some of them have problems with their documentation."

Satelindo said that users intending to complain can call 222 via mobile phone or 533-1881 during office hours. (icn)
