Satelindo bill

I had some queries about my telephone bill, so I called Satelindo's "customer care hotline" -- 5331881. I had to listen to a barrage of useless taped prattle, which offered little or no information at all. After a series of calls made here and there, with no result, I was given another "customer care hotline" -- number -- 5331994 and 5331993 (ext. 431/411).

This was the most frustrating part, resulting in a 3 minute 25 second-call as shown on my mobile phone screen. I dialed again, only this time I waited much longer. This went on for about half an hour. I multiplied the time of my calls by Rp 550 per minute plus 10 percent sales tax and realized I had called up to a total of about Rp 20,000. Worst of all, I had gathered no information at all. What really angers me is why I was purposely led to wait so long, and when the call was picked up, the person on the receiving end did not answer but hung up intentionally. The call charges are not exactly cheap either!

I called a few friends who subscribe to Satelindo GSM and apparently they have experienced similar cases on several occasions. I tried again the next day, and not surprisingly at all, the same thing happened.

In my July bill there was an additional charge for a number of calls made in April to the number 222, which is unknown to me. I paid my April telephone bill ages ago, why then was I billed again now? I have all proof of payment.

This causes me to doubt very much the accuracy and credibility of PT Satelindo. Please, let there be competition and competitors so that we may get better and more satisfying service than Satelindo's.
