Sardono hosts reunion
JAKARTA (JP): Top comedian Wahjoe Sardono of the Warkop group is hosting a reunion today for the alumni of the University of Indonesia's School of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP-UI).
"All alumni from year zero to those who have just graduated are requested to mudik (return home) to campus," read the invitation signed by Sardono, a graduate from the 1970s.
At the reunion, organized by the Association of FISIP-UI Alumni, attendees can "meet old boyfriends/girlfriends... meet students... who knows, you might get a son/daughter-in-law," Sardono wrote.
The reunion, at the Center for Japan Studies on the university's Depok campus, will also include discussions with speakers Arbi Sanit, the school's professor of political sciences, essayist Mohammad Sobari and sociologist Alexander Irwan. Senior sociologist Selo Soemardjan will moderate the talks, titled "Depreciation of Ethics and Morals in Development." (anr)
