Sanctions should continue

The sanctions imposed on Iraq and Libya have hurt innocent citizens of two nations, without doubt. But the harm -- and potential harm -- that presidents Saddam Hussein and Muammar Qaddafi presented is worse. Their actions took the lives of equally innocent people. No purpose will be served in lifting the embargoes against these countries until justice is done, and seen to be done. The case against the Iraqi and Libyan leaders must be pursued to completion.
