Sainz quits Ford

MADRID: Carlos Sainz is leaving the Ford rally team to return to Toyota following the Japanese carmaker's return from a one- year ban.

The Spaniard has won two world titles -- in 1990 and 1992 -- with Toyota, which returned to world rallying last month with its new Corolla.
